Thank you for yor answer Rabbi, but the prophets clearly state that not all Israel will be saved, just a remnant, otherwise the word Remnant lose its meaning.

God is Just, and so, if He forgives the guilty he wouldn't be Just.
Evey man will be judged according to his deeds, that's what we learn from Ezekiel 18, isn't it?

In the Biblie, God speaks against the false prophets who lie to His people telling them that they will be saved no matter what they do since they belong to the people of the Lord.

10Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:
Ezekiel 13:10

11For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
Jeremiah 8:11

If every man is responsible of his deeds and God is Just, God is not going to forgive the wicked just for belonging to His people, in fact, it is the other way round, God will judge His people more severely because they take His name among the nations.

You are the first rabbi I find who believe that the whole Israel -both believers and not believers- are the Remnant of the Lord.

When you have time (maybe the next decade... lol) would you be as kind as to deal with this topic more deeply?

God bless you!

Sorry Renton,

I have been extremely busy, but I do believe Israel is the Remnant of the Lord that you speak of; the proof is in the pudding, and the fact remains that the Jewish people have miraculously survived--despite the anti-Semites like Haman, Hitler, and other Hitler wannabes who have always tried to destroy her.

Rabbi:
Why do people ask me only the easy questions?

Because we people are simpletons.

I asked you once who do you think are the Remnant of the Lord but you did not answer me...

Look at my face, look what you've done!
